Tomáš Pokorný

Tomáš Pokorný is an experienced professional in data analytics and engineering, currently serving as the Head of Revenue Management Analytics at DFDS since February 2019, where Tomáš leads a team of data engineers and data scientists. Prior to this role, Tomáš worked as a Data Engineer at DFDS, specializing in pricing tools and developments in revenue management, utilizing technologies such as SQL, Python, AWS, Azure, Docker, Airflow, and Tableau. Previously, Tomáš gained experience as a Business Intelligence Consultant at Ambu A/S and a Data Warehouse Consultant at Teradata, where responsibilities included roles in semantic layer development and ETL processes for various high-profile clients. Tomáš began his career as an Oracle Developer at CSOB, focusing on PL/SQL development and data modeling. Tomáš holds a Master's degree in Information Systems and Technology from Prague University of Economics and Business.
