Philipp Slusallek

Philipp Slusallek is a prominent figure in the field of artificial intelligence and computer graphics, currently serving as a Member of the Executive Board and Executive Director at the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) since January 2008. As Professor and Head of the Research Area "Agents and Simulated Reality" at Saarland University, Slusallek has played a pivotal role in academia since October 1999. Additional contributions include co-founding the Confederation of Labs for AI Research in Europe (CLAIRE) and serving as a principal investigator in the Excellence Cluster for Multimodal Computing and Interaction (MMCI). Slusallek has held various advisory and board positions across multiple prestigious institutions, including the European Commission and the Max Planck Institute for Informatics.
