Tanya Amit Tyagi is currently a Thesis Student at Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI), working on the critical evaluation of biologically informed neural networks. Previously, Tanya served as a Research Assistant at INM-Leibniz Institute for New Materials, focusing on genetic engineering tasks related to bacteria. Prior experience includes roles as a Peer Review Advisor and Editorial Advisor at Springer Nature Group, along with an internship at MyGenomeBox, where innovative DNA-based applications were researched. Tanya also completed a brief internship at Serum Institute of India Pvt. Ltd. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Bioinformatics from Universität des Saarlandes and a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from Dr. D. Y. Patil Biotechnology and Bioinformatics Institute.
