Yorman Munoz is a researcher at the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) since April 2020, focusing on topics such as 6G, robotics, reconfigurable intelligent surfaces, green ICT, and energy efficiency. Prior experience includes roles as a hardware assembler and hardware developer at DFKI, where responsibilities included SMD soldering, debugging PCB circuits, and firmware development. Yorman also served as an academic assistant at the University of Kaiserslautern, correcting exams and guiding scientific excursions, and worked as a project engineer at Inelectra, designing cabling systems for energy projects. An internship at the Instituto Venezolano de Investigaciones Científicas involved designing a capacitive density monitor for ceramic industries. Yorman holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a focus on Embedded Systems from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau and an Engineer's Degree in Electronic Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar.
