Clarisse Hagège is an experienced professional with a diverse background. In 2020, they founded and served as the CEO of Dfns, a developer tool that allows teams to build compliance-friendly products for crypto markets. Clarisse emphasized the importance of high-security custody for digital assets.
In 2022, Clarisse became a board member and director of outreach at MPC Alliance. Prior to that, they worked as an entrepreneur-in-residence at Techstars in 2021 and at STATION F in 2020.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Clarisse gained extensive experience in the banking industry. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as a Global Relationship Manager at Crédit Agricole CIB, where they delivered a range of solutions to a portfolio of clients. Before that, they served as an MNC Coverage Banker and a Corporate Banker, focusing on short-term financing solutions and export & trade products, cross-selling with treasury and cash management products. Clarisse also worked as a Business Analyst supporting the CEO and Senior Management with budgeting exercises at Crédit Agricole CIB.
Additionally, Clarisse worked as the Interim Head of Partnership at Starname in 2019, and as an intern in Global Wealth Management at Merrill Lynch in 2010. Clarisse also gained experience as a Summer Analyst in Global Investment Research at Goldman Sachs in 2009.
Clarisse Hagège has a solid education background. Clarisse began their academic journey by attending Lycée Marcelin Berthelot, where they completed a Hypokhâgne-Khâgne program. This program focused on arts and literature and prepared their for admission into top French universities.
After completing their preparatory education, Clarisse attended the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, where they obtained a Double Licence in Geopolitics and History. This program provided their with a strong foundation in these subjects.
In 2007, Clarisse enrolled at Université Paris Dauphine - PSL for a Double Master's degree. Clarisse pursued Applied Economics and Political Sciences, expanding their knowledge and skills in these fields. Clarisse completed this program in 2008.
Continuing their studies, Clarisse joined Sciences Po for a Master II degree in Finance and International Business. This program, spanning from 2008 to 2010, equipped their with expertise in finance and international business.
In 2010, Clarisse had the opportunity to participate in a one-year exchange program at New York University's Graduate School of Arts and Science. Clarisse earned their Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) degree from this esteemed institution in 2011.

In 2015, they obtained the Series 63, Series 7, and Series 79 certifications from the FINRA Investor Education Foundation. These certifications demonstrate their knowledge and expertise in the financial industry.

Most recently, in 2020, Clarisse completed the Startup School Online program offered by Y Combinator. This program likely sharpened their entrepreneurial skills and knowledge in the startup industry.
