John Rastall

John Rastall has a diverse work experience in the retail industry. John began their career at Thresher Group as a Replenishment Analyst in 2004. John then joined Home Retail Group PLC in 2005, where they held various roles in buying and merchandising, including Buying Manager and Merchandiser. In 2013, they briefly worked at Dunelm (Soft Furnishings) Ltd as a Senior Buyer/Head of Buying, where they focused on strategic planning, sourcing, and product development. John returned to Home Retail Group PLC in 2013 and continued their work in buying management. In 2017, they joined DFS as the Head of Buying for the Bedroom & Dining category. Throughout their career, John has demonstrated skills in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, sourcing, product development, and line management. John is currently the Head of Commercial DFS Home & Dwell at DFS.

John Rastall completed their secondary education at Woldgate School, Pocklington from 1993 to 2000. Following that, they pursued their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business and Public Policy at Aston University from 2000 to 2004.
