Mohamad El Khalil

Mohamad El Khalil is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Director of Prudential Supervision at the Dubai Financial Services Authority since November 2008. In this role, Mohamad leads the team responsible for ensuring the financial stability and soundness of firms within the Dubai International Financial Centre, overseeing the licensing and supervision of various financial institutions. Prior to this position, Mohamad held roles such as Associate Director of Banking Supervision and Senior Manager of Supervision at DFSA, as well as positions at ESA Business School, Byblos Bank, Lebanon's Banking Control Commission, and Arab Finance Corporation. Mohamad’s academic credentials include a Diplôme d’Etudes Supérieures Spécialisées in Financial Assets and Tools and a Master's degree in Banking & Finance from Saint Joseph University of Beirut.
