Gary Sefah

Gary Sefah is a Mechanical Engineer with experience in design and manufacturing, currently working at DFT Inc. since October 2023, focusing on check and control valves. Earlier, as a Master Thesis Student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Gary redesigned a low-cost precision fiber extrusion device, achieving significant reductions in system size and assembly time. At the University of Oklahoma, Gary contributed as a Mechanical Engineer, designing a spring-loaded rod, and as a Research Assistant, advancing systems for analyzing phase changes. Additionally, Gary has experience in product design and technical support within academic settings. Education includes a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Oklahoma, complemented by an engineering-focused high school background.
