Miguel Sousa has a diverse work experience, starting in 2005 with a role as a Researcher at CCG - Centro de Computação Gráfica. Miguel then worked as a Researcher - SW Eng. at IGI (INI Graphics Net) from July 2006 to February 2008. In 2008, they joined RTT as a SW Developer for a year. From 2009 to 2010, they worked at Zenitum, Inc. as a SW Eng. In 2010, they became a Researcher in Computer Graphics at Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) until February 2012. Miguel then joined ShakrMedia as a SW Eng. from May 2012 to April 2014. From December 2014 to September 2018, they worked at Fraunhofer IGD as a Researcher/Software Engineer. Finally, they are currently the Head of 3D Technologies & Co-Founder at Darmstadt Graphics Group since September 2018.
Miguel Sousa attended Universidade do Minho from 2000 to 2006, where they obtained a degree in LESI (Computer Science).
