Michael Stensbøl has had a diverse range of work experiences throughout their career. Michael started their career in 1994 as the Head of Section at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark. Following that, they worked at Superfos a/s, where they served as the Executive Assistant and Head of Corporate Affairs and later as the Group Product and Marketing Director. In 2006, they joined Carl F International a|s as the Supply Chain Director. Michael then moved to Sanistål A/S, where they held the positions of Sales Director/Chain Director and Business Development Director. Since 2011, they have been the CEO of DGI-byen, overseeing the company's operations in the areas of meetings and conferences, hotel operations, and sports and entertainment.
Michael Stensbøl began their education in 1987 at Niels Brock. Michael then attended the Language Academy - Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark from 1994 to 1997, where they studied Mandatory French and English. In 1989, Stensbøl enrolled at Copenhagen Business School and obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Business Administration and Management, General by 1994. Michael furthered their education with the Superfos Young Managers Programme from 1997 to 1999, completing an Extensive Management Trainee Course. In 2014, Stensbøl attended the Copenhagen Business School again, this time for the CBS Executive Board Leadership Program, which they completed in 2015.
