Johannes Kreissig

Johannes Kreissig is an experienced professional in the field of sustainable building and construction, currently serving as the Geschäftsführender Vorstand at the Deutsche Gesellschaft für nachhaltiges Bauen e.V. since May 2018 and as Geschäftsführer at DGNB German Sustainable Building Council since April 2016. With a background that includes leadership roles at thinkstep as Vice President of Building & Construction and as Director of Business Development and Sustainable Construction at PE INTERNATIONAL, Johannes possesses extensive expertise in sustainability performance management. Johannes began a career in academia at the Universität Stuttgart, where roles included Head of the GaBi Department and Research Engineer. Education includes a Diplom in Maschinenbau from the University of Stuttgart and studies at the University of Arizona.
