Luke Janowiak has extensive work experience in the medical field. Luke started their career in 1985 as an aviator in the United States Army and later worked as a physician in the army from 2001 to 2010, specializing in flight surgery and family practice. In 2018, they joined the DOD Civil Service as a physician and became the medical director of the General Officer Executive Health Exam Section. Luke also served as the medical director of Executive Exams at DHA.
Luke Janowiak received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Saint John's University, where they studied from 1978 to 1983. Luke then pursued further education in the field of medicine and obtained a Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from Des Moines University between 1992 and 1996.

DHA, Housing Solutions for North Texas provides quality, affordable housing and supportive services to low-income families and individuals through the effective and efficient administration of housing assistance programs across seven North Texas counties: Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Kaufman, Rockwall, and Tarrant. The agency aims to create opportunities for participants to achieve self-sufficiency and economic independence. DHA provides housing opportunities to 55,700 people through its housing programs. DHA is the 8th largest Housing Choice Voucher program in the nation and the 10th largest public housing agency in the nation.
