Naina Vegunta

Naina Vegunta has over 8 years of professional experience in the software engineering field. In 2020, they began working as a Senior Software Engineer and Team Lead at Dhan AI, where they translated business requirements to stories, performed gap analysis between goals and existing business processes, and designed and developed multiple micro services in AWS lambda.

From 2013 to 2020, Naina worked at Cerner Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer, Associate Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer. During this time, they hosted meetings with the business and clients to get the business requirements for next projects, worked in close contact with teams from different orgs to sanitize the data for reporting, developed applications from scratch, implemented testing driven application with JMS on the service side, and used web components to create reusable components.

In 2012, Naina worked at the Department of Biomedical Informatics at ASU as a Research Assistant and Student Worker. During this time, they standardized data and generated core reports in Salesforce for Arizona Regional Extension Center (AZREC), suggested best CRM system for all the projects the Arizona Healthe Connections (AZHEC) was handling, and developed and maintained websites for the Department of Biomedical Informatics.

In 2012, Naina also worked at Education Outreach & Student Services as a Web Developer, where they created web pages in Drupal and HTML, styled the pages with CSS, and validated the web pages using Javascript.

Finally, in 2011, Naina worked at the W P Carey School of Business, Arizona State University, as a Teaching Assitant. During this time, they developed a recruiting app in Salesforce and learnt how to manage the tables in databases with customized objects.

Naina Vegunta earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Computer Science from Anna University between 2007 and 2011 and a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from Arizona State University between 2011 and 2013.
