Sonya Luechauer

Sonya Luechauer has extensive work experience in the mortgage industry. Sonya began their career at Mellon Mortgage in 1983 as a Branch Administrator, where they worked until 1988. During their time there, they gained valuable experience and knowledge in the field. In 1988, Sonya joined DHI Mortgage as the Chief Operating Officer, a role they held for 30 years until 2018. Sonya'sdedication and expertise led their to be promoted to the role of President and Chief Executive Officer in June 2018. Sonya's work experience showcases their ability to excel in leadership positions and make significant contributions to the companies they have worked for.

Sonya Luechauer earned a BA degree in Finance and Management from Texas State University between 1977 and 1981. In addition, they obtained certifications as a Mortgage Action Alliance Member from the Mortgage Bankers Association and as a Toastmaster.
