Elena Stuart is a seasoned software developer with extensive experience in the technology sector. Since December 2017, Elena has worked at DHI as a Software Developer, following a role as a Senior IT Consultant at Netcompany from September 2013 to November 2017, during which Elena acted as a scrum master for a side-project involving borger.dk. Prior to that, Elena contributed to the development of simulation software for optimizing waste handling at the Technical University of Denmark as both an IT Consultant and a Software Developer from January 2012 to August 2013. Elena's early career includes serving as a Scientific Assistant at the Technical University of Denmark, where ideas from her PhD research on digital microfluidic biochips were further developed. Elena holds a PhD in System Level Design of Microfluidic Biochips from DTU and an M.Sc. in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest. Additionally, Elena spent time as a Visiting Researcher at Duke University.
