Morten Bader Havkrog has a diverse work experience in various IT roles. Morten started their career as an IT-medarbejder at Danmarks Lærerforening in 1998. Morten then served as a Special Konsulent at H:S from 1999 to 2004, where they were responsible for the internal IT and provided support to the staff. Havkrog then worked as an Afdelingsleder/Department Manager at Bankdata from 2004 to 2015, leading a team in developing products and solutions for the financial sector. After that, they served as a Udviklingsdirektør/Development Director at Zylinc from 2015 to 2016, overseeing a team of software developers and testers. Morten later worked as an IT-Chef at Glostrup Kommune from 2017 to 2019, where they were responsible for the overall IT operations and support. Their next role was as Head Of Unit, Development of MIKE Products at DHI in 2019, leading a team of developers and architects. Currently, they hold the position of VP - Infrastructure and Operations at DHI since October 2021, where they are responsible for the infrastructure and operations of the company.

Morten Bader Havkrog earned a Master's Degree in Human physiology from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen from 1989 to 1998. Morten then obtained a Master's Degree in MITKO - Master of IT, Organisation and Communication from Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark from 2004 to 2006. Havkrog also completed their High School education at Støvring Gymnasium from 1983 to 1986. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications such as PRINCE2® Practitioner and Prince2 Foundation from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2017, and they also hold a Project Manager certification from Djøf.
