Rien van Wijk

Rien van Wijk is a seasoned professional with a strong background in ecology and data management. With a Doctor of Philosophy in Zoology/Animal Biology from the University of Zurich and a Master of Science in Ecology from Wageningen University & Research, Rien has held various key positions, including Head of Avian Ecology and Project Manager at DHI, and Data Steward and Scrum Master at BEC Financial Technologies. Additionally, Rien has experience as a Freelance Project Manager and Data Analyst at Van Wijk Rådgivning, a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Natural History Museum of Denmark, and a Tour Guide at Nova Fairy Tales.
