Wellym Lie

Wellym Lie has over a decade of experience in environmental engineering, currently serving as a Senior Engineer at DHI since March 2011. Wellym specializes in ballast water type approval, coordinating land-based and shipboard testing to protect marine environments, and has expertise in UV-based treatment systems and biodosimetry. Previous roles include Senior Environmental Engineer/Project Manager with a focus on wastewater treatment, real-time water quality forecasting, and greenhouse gas management. Wellym also has experience in research, having worked as a Research Engineer and as a Research Assistant at the Institute for Infocomm Research. Wellym holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science and Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Bioengineering, both from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
