Leila Naghshbandi

Leila Naghshbandi's work experience begins in 2011 at Artin Ertebat, where they initially worked as a Software Developer. In this role, they assisted with technical designs, developed a hierarchical classification module, and oversaw linguistic specialists and taggers. From 2013 to 2017, they worked as a Data Mining Engineer at Artin Ertebat, where they designed and developed a near-duplicate detection module and gained experience with streaming tools. In 2017, they transitioned to the role of a Machine Learning Engineer at Artin Ertebat, where they designed and developed a question answering system on streaming Persian News, collaborating with product managers and end-users. In 2019, Leila joined Snapp! as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, where they worked until 2021. Currently, they are working as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at ShopThing, North America's leading live shopping marketplace.

Leila Naghshbandi earned a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic in the period from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the same university from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, Leila has obtained several certifications, including "Sequence Models" from Coursera in June 2023, "Getting started with TensorFlow 2" from Coursera in February 2021, "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter Tuning, Regularization and Optimization" from Coursera in January 2021, "Convolutional Neural Networks" from Coursera in May 2020, and "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" from Coursera in April 2020.
