Dr. Kristina Gushchina

Dr. Kristina Gushchina serves as a Senior Expert - Project Manager in the field of People Analytics at DHL since November 2020, with prior experience as an Expert Data Scientist within the same department at Deutsche Post DHL Group. From October 2016 to October 2020, Dr. Gushchina held the position of Doctoral Researcher at both the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies and the Wirtschafts- und Sozialwissenschaftliche Fakultät der Universität zu Köln, focusing on comparative political analysis, women in politics research, and the politics of post-communist and post-Soviet countries. Additionally, Dr. Gushchina contributed as a Teaching Assistant for a master’s course on federalism and multi-level governance. Academically, Dr. Gushchina earned a PhD in Political Science from both the Max Planck Institute and the University of Cologne, with earlier educational achievements including a Master's from Central European University and dual Bachelor's degrees from Bard College and Saint Petersburg State University.
