Mark Simons has extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management, particularly within the logistics sector. Currently serving as VP Global Category Sourcing Manager Transportation at DHL since January 2014, Mark oversees the procurement of third-party logistics services, focusing on road and network logistics while also incorporating air and ocean elements. Prior roles include leading transportation procurement for Deutsche Post World Net across multiple regions and managing procurement teams in the UK, Turkey, and South Africa. Mark's career began at Royal Mail, where an emphasis was placed on strategic capital expenditure investments. Mark holds degrees in Procurement and Business Studies from Swindon College.
