Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Science - BS degree in Biology and Chemistry from Barry University from 1994 to 1998. James attained their High School Diploma from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in 1994. Furthermore, they hold additional certifications in Hospice Medical Director Certification from the Hospice Medical Director Certification Board®, Hospice and Palliative Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine obtained in 2010, and Internal Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine obtained in 2005.
