Dr. Rene I Luna, MD, FACOG-OBGYN has a diverse work experience in the field. In 2015, they established their own practice, Rene I Luna, MD, PA, where they currently serve as the Chief Executive Officer. Rene I also hold a position as a Clinical Assistant Professor at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, starting in 2015. Rene I obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from The University of Texas-Pan American in 2002. Dr. Luna has additional certifications including being Board Certified in Obstetrician Gynecology and a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). Rene I is also a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). In 2021, Dr. Luna obtained certification in Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery (MIGS).
