Simon Cardenas has work experience in both the healthcare and government sectors. From February 2018 to September 2021, they worked at DHR Health as a Community Liaison, responsible for building relationships with the community. In September 2021, they transitioned to the role of Healthcare Recruiter until May 2022, where they were involved in recruiting healthcare professionals. Since March 2022, they have served as the Director of Physician Integration and Onboarding at DHR Health. Prior to their time at DHR Health, Simon worked at the US Congress as a Constituent Services Representative from July 2015 to July 2016, assisting constituents with their inquiries and concerns.
Simon Cardenas earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from the University of the Incarnate Word in 2015. Simon later pursued a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley from 2019 to 2020.
