Simon Towers

Simon Towers is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in the healthcare sector. Currently serving as a Senior Communications Advisor at DHU Health Care CIC since December 2021, Simon previously held the role of Communications Advisor at Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust from November 2007 to January 2022. In this position, responsibilities included handling media inquiries, managing reputation, and overseeing stakeholder communication and engagement. Simon also served as Interim Communications Manager, leading the communications team and handling critical projects such as the Annual Members Meeting and managing a substantial budget during crucial development phases. Prior to this, Simon worked as a Journalist at Peak FM from November 2002 to November 2007. Educational background includes attendance at Harrogate Grammar School from 1987 to 1995.
