David Anaya Maya

David Anaya Maya is an accomplished artist educator and experienced gallery professional, currently holding multiple roles at Dia Art Foundation since March 2021, including Artist Educator, Senior Gallery Attendant, and Assistant Manager of Visitor Experience. Previous experience includes positions at The Shed in New York as a Visitor Experience Associate and various roles at Dia Art Foundation, including Gallery Attendant at both Dia:Chelsea and Dia:Beacon. David also served as a SU-CASA artist in residence with the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council and held curatorial and leadership positions at The Leo Bates Foundation and Fundación Paramus. David's formal education includes a BFA from Universidad de Los Andes, a self-directed residency at The Banff Centre, and a postgraduate diploma in Materials Science from Universidad de Antioquia.
