Alejandro Alberto Ibarra Pichardo serves as the Chief Data Officer (CDO) for Grupo DIA since April 2022, focusing on leading the data strategy and enhancing data platform maturity. Prior to this role, Alejandro held multiple leadership positions at Telefónica from 2015 to 2022, including Head of BI & Big Data for the Global Video Unit, where responsibilities included driving a data-centric culture and managing end-to-end data life cycle processes. Experience at Vivo involved strategic oversight of BI assets across Latin America, while earlier roles at Movistar focused on business intelligence and data science initiatives. Alejandro's academic background includes a Master's in Marketing Management from thePower, a Global Management Programme at IESE Business School, and various certifications from Universidad Metropolitana and Universidad Simón Bolívar.
