Sarai Machota Castillo has over 16 years of experience at Grupo Dia, holding various managerial positions in procurement and category management. Currently serving as Senior Manager for Procurement Material Auxiliary and Marketing, Sarai oversees the purchasing of store and warehouse auxiliary materials, manages teams, develops budgets and projects, and conducts market and competition studies. Previous roles include Manager of Procurement for auxiliary materials, Specialist Senior in equipment procurement, and various Category Manager positions focusing on pet food, healthy food, and other product lines. Sarai has a background in retail management from Decathlon and holds a degree in Food Technology and a diploma in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, along with training in agile methodology.
