Martin Goodchild

Martin Goodchild is a seasoned construction project manager with extensive experience in the mining and metals industry. Currently, Martin serves at DIAB Engineering Pty Ltd, managing the Hopper 9 Primary Crushing Plant project at Cloudbreak in Western Australia since March 2020. Previous roles include production manager at Nyrstar's Port Pirie facility, one of the world's largest primary lead smelting facilities, and operations manager at Alcoa of Australia. Martin's career also encompasses significant positions at Rio Tinto, including general manager of Benga Operations in Mozambique, where Martin was instrumental in establishing operational teams and implementing Lean manufacturing practices. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Deakin University and an Associate Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Fremantle College of TAFE.
