Tamar Kirschner is a seasoned library professional with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as a Senior Project Coordinator for Content and Training at California Libraries Learn since September 2022, Tamar has also held multiple positions at Diablo Valley College since May 2016, including Library Technology Program Lead, Reference Librarian, and Adjunct Faculty Instructor. Previous experience includes serving as Supervising Librarian for Technical Services at Solano County Library from July 2016 to July 2017 and a lengthy tenure at Oakland Public Library from June 2000 to June 2016, where roles included Senior Collection Development Librarian and Children's Program Librarian. Tamar holds a Master of Library & Information Science from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Arts in World Literature & Cultural Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
