James Alexander has extensive experience in marketing and brand management, currently serving as the Global Head of Content for Captain Morgan at Diageo since October 2014. In this role, responsibilities include overseeing brand strategy, visual identity, campaign development, and media strategy across Europe. Previously, James contributed to the Johnnie Walker Global Brand Team as a Marketing Manager, focused on enhancing the luxury perception of Blue Label. Earlier positions at Diageo included leading a culture and entertainment department and establishing a new marketing team for beer and sport brands in Europe. Prior to Diageo, James spent a decade at H+K Strategies UK, leading the AudioVisual Content division and managing high-profile client accounts in sports marketing. James holds a BSc in Psychology from Northumbria University, awarded in 2004.
