Latonja Davis-Benson

Latonja Davis-Benson is a versatile artist and educator with extensive experience in both the art and healthcare fields. As the owner and artist at Paint Hive Studio since 2014, Latonja creates engaging painting experiences for participants of all ages. In academia, Latonja serves as an Associate Professor of Art at Saddleback College and has held positions as an art instructor at multiple institutions, including the University of California, Riverside, and Moreno Valley College, focusing on the interpretation and evaluation of art theories. Latonja's art practice as a mixed media artist is driven by a deep connection to nature, while also maintaining a longstanding career as a Mammographer III and Radiologic Technologist at various healthcare facilities since the early 1980s. Education includes a Master in Art from California State University-San Bernardino and a Bachelor in Art from California State University-Dominguez Hills, alongside an Associate in Science in Radiology from Long Beach City College.
