Jane-Alyse VonOhlen has over 20 years of experience in various human resources and organizational development roles. Jane-Alyse is currently the Vice President of Human Resources at Diagnostic Laboratory Services since September 2020. Previously, they worked at Life & Specialty Ventures - USAble Life as the Vice President of Human Resources & Organizational Development from July 2018 to September 2020. In that role, they built a talent management program and deployed a culture strategy resulting in improved employee engagement.
Before that, Jane-Alyse held the position of Director of Learning, OD, and Talent Management at Mary Washington Healthcare from April 2007 to September 2012. Jane-Alyse designed and implemented a talent management strategy and increased training while reducing the budget. Jane-Alyse also worked at GE Energy as a Consultant in Change Strategy and Deployment from October 2004 to March 2007. In that role, they delivered multiple sales proposals and implemented strategic employee change initiatives.
Prior to their time at GE Energy, they served as the Director of Training and Organizational Development at Virtua Health from February 1999 to July 2004. Jane-Alyse was repeatedly promoted and played a key role in designing and deploying the HR Corporate Services Model. Additionally, Jane-Alyse worked at Memorial Health Alliance as an Organizational Effectiveness professional in 1998.

Jane-Alyse VonOhlen completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management from Marist College. Jane-Alyse attended the college from 1991 to 1995. After that, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Training and OD from Saint Joseph's University from 1996 to 1998. In addition to their degrees, Jane-Alyse VonOhlen has obtained various certifications including DDI, Firo-B, GE - Master Change Agent from CAP (Change Acceleration Process), GE WorkOut, Lean Greenbelt, MBTI, Six Sigma Greenbelt, and Whole Scale Change.

DLS is proud to be Hawaii’s largest locally-owned clinical testing laboratory with a team of 800+ dedicated professionals. Our Microbiology Lab is the only clinical laboratory in Hawai’i with the WASPLab, a highly advanced specimen processor. Our Core Lab features a chemistry automation line that is the largest of its kind in the state. It also utilizes mobile robots that efficiently deliver samples between processing stations.
