Bilgin Ibryam began their work experience as a Java Developer at Iguana IT in April 2006 and continued until October 2009. From October 2009 to May 2010, they worked as an Apache OFBiz Consultant at Stromboli bv. Then, from May 2010 to August 2012, they served as an Open Source Consultant at Sourcesense. In September 2012, they joined BBC News as a Senior Software Engineer and stayed until September 2013. In December 2013, they started working at Red Hat as a Middleware Consultant, then progressed to Senior Middleware Architect from December 2014 to September 2017. From September 2017 to September 2019, they served as a Principal Architect at Red Hat. Finally, they worked as a Senior Principal Product Manager from October 2019 to July 2022 at Red Hat. Since July 2022, they have been serving as a Principal Product Manager at Diagrid Inc. Throughout their career, they have also held various roles at The Apache Software Foundation, including ASF Member, Apache Isis Committer and PMC Member, Apache Camel Committer and PMC Member, and Apache OFBiz Committer and PMC Member.
Bilgin Ibryam completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Technical University Sofia from 2002 to 2006. Bilgin then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at the same university from 2006 to 2008.
In addition to their formal education, Bilgin obtained several certifications. In January 2012, they earned the OCP JP, SCJP 6 certification from Oracle. In April 2014, they obtained the RHCSA - Red Hat Certified System Administrator certification, as well as the Certificate of Expertise in Camel Development from Red Hat in August 2014. Most recently, in May 2022, they received the Pragmatic Certified Product Master certification from Pragmatic Institute.
