Joe Adkins

Joe Adkins is a seasoned professional in digital solutions and software engineering, currently serving as the Director of Digital Solutions at Diakonia Group, LLC since December 2023. Previously, Joe excelled as the Director of UX Engineering at Convoy, transforming UX practices, and as an Engineering Manager at Science 37 and Y Media Labs, facilitating team growth and software accessibility initiatives. Joe’s earlier roles include Director of Software Engineering at Everactive and Front End Developer at Room Key, where expertise in full-stack development and user interface design was demonstrated. Joe began a career in media development with a focus on web and motion graphics, and holds a Ph.D. in Music Composition and Technology from the University of Virginia.
