Erik Abelsson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Erik began their career with StudentConsulting as a Consultant from September 2010 to December 2011. Erik then worked at AkzoNobel in their Marketing Department from February 2012 to May 2012, where they focused on improving communication and implementing web analytics. Erik went on to work as a Research Assistant at Uppsala University from June 2014 to August 2014.
In 2014, they joined L'Oréal Sweden as part of their Marketing team, specifically in the Consumer Product Division. During their time there from July 2014 to January 2015, they worked on various marketing initiatives and project managed the beauty competition Miss Glossy 2014.
From January 2015 to June 2015, Erik worked on a Master's Thesis Project where they project managed the implementation of a new website while writing their thesis. Erik successfully launched a new website, implemented a new content management system, redesigned the website layout, and established new processes and guidelines for website management.
In May 2017, Erik started working at Diakrit as a Business Development Manager for Australia and New Zealand. Erik then transitioned to the role of Commercial Manager - International from December 2018 to October 2019. From October 2019 to June 2020, they served as the Managing Director - Content, responsible for overseeing content operations. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Operating Officer.
Erik Abelsson obtained a Master of Science in Business (MSB) in Business Administration and Management, General from Uppsala University. Erik studied at Uppsala University from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, Erik Abelsson earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Marketing from Halmstad University. Erik attended Halmstad University from 2009 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Erik also obtained a certification in Scaling Up Master Business Course from Growth Institute in March 2021.
