Damitha Rathnamalala

Damitha Rathnamalala has a strong work history in the field of DevOps and engineering. Starting in 2019, Damitha joined Dialog Axiata PLC as a DevOps Lead, responsible for overseeing the DevOps processes within the company. Prior to this role, from 2022 to 2024, Damitha served as an Associate DevOps Lead, contributing to the implementation and management of DevOps strategies. In 2021, Damitha was a Senior Engineer at Dialog Axiata PLC, handling various technical responsibilities. Before joining Dialog Axiata PLC, Damitha worked as an Engineer - Converged Charging from 2019 to 2021. Additionally, Damitha gained early work experience through internships at KBSL Information Technologies Limited in 2017 and Sri Lanka Telecom in 2016.

Damitha Rathnamalala completed a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSc.Eng.) from the University of Ruhuna from 2015 to 2018. In addition to their degree, they obtained several certifications, including Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) from The Linux Foundation in March 2022, Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) from Red Hat in July 2019, Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA Routing and Switching) from Cisco in November 2018, and Red Hat Certified System Administrator from Red Hat in March 2018.
