Dilshan de Saram

Dilshan De Saram is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in AI solutions and analytics. Currently serving as the Lead Data Scientist at Dialog Axiata PLC since August 2017, Dilshan spearheads GenAI developments and oversees a team in creating product recommendation systems. Previous roles include Assistant Manager and Specialist in Business Intelligence Analytics, with contributions to ML prediction models for retail inventory and sales analysis. Prior to Dialog Axiata PLC, Dilshan worked at Nielsen in Consumer Insights and completed an internship at Sampath Bank focused on optimizing cash management through predictive modeling. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Cardiff Metropolitan University and a B.Sc. in Statistics from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
