Mark de L. Thompson

Mark de L. Thompson has a long and varied career in business. Mark began their career in 1991 as a Senior Consultant at the Boston Consulting Group. In 1994, they took on the role of Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Ameritech/Teledanmark, now part of AT&T. In 2000, they joined Dell as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the US Consumer Systems Group and Senior Vice President of SMB Marketing and Federal Services General Manager. In 2006, they became the CEO of Observint Technologies, a Carlyle Group portfolio company, where they oversaw sales, marketing, operations, and a supply chain. In 2009, they joined Microsoft as General Manager of Worldwide Partner Strategy, Marketing, and Programs, and in 2010, they became the CEO of Dialog Group in Austin. Mark currently serves on the Board of Directors of SeatonCorp.

Mark de L. Thompson has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with High Distinction from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management, which they obtained from 1981 to 1985. Mark also has an MBA from The Wharton School, which they obtained from 1989 to 1991.
