Édouard Lavery-Plante

Édouard Lavery-Plante has extensive work experience in software development and architecture. Édouard currently holds the position of Senior Staff Software Developer and DevOps Team Lead at Dialogue since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Staff Software Developer in the DevOps team at Dialogue from August 2021 to February 2023. From August 2019 to August 2021, Édouard served as a Senior Software Developer at Dialogue.

Before joining Dialogue, Édouard was self-employed as a Freelance Full Stack Mobile/ML Developer from January 2017 to August 2019. Additionally, they worked as a Technical Architect at Odopod, A Nurun Company from January 2016 to January 2017, where they played a lead role in the architecture and development of a multi-stakeholder connected appliance project.

Earlier in their career, Édouard worked at Nurun from May 2010 to December 2015, initially as a Developer - Technological Innovations and later as an iPhone Developer. During this time, they gained expertise in iPhone development using various technologies, managed other developers' work, participated in quality testing, and conducted client presentations.

Prior to their work at Nurun, Édouard worked as a freelance Flash and HTML website developer at laveryplante.com from January 2007 to May 2011. Édouard also held the role of Objective-C Programmer at Le Site from June 2009 to May 2010, and AS3 Developer at Social2u from June 2008 to August 2008.

Édouard Lavery-Plante obtained a Bachelor's Degree in B Sc. Software Development and Economics from UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal from 2011 to 2015. Édouard also earned a Certificate in Economics from Université Laval in 2015. Prior to that, they completed their DEC in Arts, letters, communication, and Multimedia from Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf from 2009 to 2011. Their education began at École d'éducation internationale from 2004 to 2009, where they attained a DES, International Baccalaureate (IB), and DÉSI (SÉBIQ), although their field of study is unknown. Additionally, Édouard obtained various certifications focused on different aspects of Machine Learning, Google Cloud Platform, and Site Reliability Engineering from Coursera between 2018 and 2020.
