Syed Hashmi M.D., Fasn

Syed Hashmi, MD, FASN has extensive work experience in the field of nephrology. Syed has held roles as a Nephrologist at Ingalls since March 2020, as well as at Advocate Aurora Health since September 2017. Dr. Hashmi has also served as a Nephrology Fellow at Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California from July 2015 to June 2017, and as a Resident Physician at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center from July 2012 to June 2015. Prior to their training in the United States, Dr. Hashmi worked as a House Officer at Civil Hospital Karachi from May 2009 to April 2010. Additionally, they have served as a Medical Director at Dialysis Care Center since November 2019 and as a Senior Partner/Consultant Nephrologist & Hypertension Specialist at Kidney Care Center since August 2017. Dr. Hashmi is a Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology (FASN).

Syed Hashmi, MD, FASN completed their Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Dow Medical College, where they studied medicine from 2003 to 2009. Syed has obtained additional certifications, including being a Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology, which they achieved in January 2021.
