Jim Hofmockel

Jim Hofmockel is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in private equity and financial markets. As a Managing Partner at (312) Investments since June 2007, Jim specializes in investing in private businesses and executing growth strategies through mergers and acquisitions. In addition to this role, Jim serves on the Board of Directors for Diamond Fulfillment Solutions, a spin-off from Diamond Communication Solutions, and previously held positions such as Independent Sponsor and Director of Capital Markets at Acrecent Financial Corporation, where investment strategies were tailored for the Caribbean and Central America. Jim co-founded Diamond Communication Solutions, successfully leading multiple acquisitions and financing efforts before its eventual sale. Earlier in their career, Jim held significant roles at Cardinal Growth, LP, Salomon Brothers Inc., Bear Stearns Companies, and KPMG Peat Marwick, gaining expertise in investment management, capital raising, and advisory services across various financial institutions. Jim holds an MBA in Finance and Economics from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in Accounting from Purdue University.
