Allen Orville

Allen Orville is a distinguished academic and research professional with extensive experience in the field of biochemistry and biophysics. Currently serving as a Visiting Professor at the University of Oxford's Department of Chemistry and as Group Leader and Principal Scientist at Diamond Light Source, Allen Orville has made significant contributions since October 2015. Prior roles include Biophysicist at Brookhaven National Laboratory from June 2006 to September 2015 and Assistant Professor at Georgia Institute of Technology from 2000 to 2006. Allen Orville's early career also includes a postdoctoral fellowship at Howard Hughes Medical Institute and a biochemist position at the University of Minnesota. Allen Orville earned a PhD in Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology from the University of Minnesota between 1992 and 1997.
