Thomas Geiger

Thomas Geiger, P.E. has extensive work experience in the offshore drilling industry. Thomas has been with Diamond Offshore Drilling Inc. since 1997, where they held various roles including Sr. Director of Engineering and Director of Projects. In these positions, they managed multiple projects and project managers at a strategic level, overseeing large capital projects with a total expenditure of $2.4B USD. Prior to joining Diamond Offshore Drilling Inc., they worked at Brown & Root, Inc. & Associated Companies as a Project Engineer, coordinating the fabrication of jackets and decks. Thomas also worked as a Design Engineer, performing preliminary and detailed design engineering of offshore platforms. Thomas Geiger, P.E. completed the Diamond Offshore Drilling Business Development Program at Mays Business School - Texas A&M University in 2015. Thomas earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Offshore Structures from the University of Houston in 1989. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Maritime Systems Engineering with an Ocean Engineering Option from the Texas A&M University Galveston Campus in 1988.
