Benson Musembi

CPA Benson Musembi has had a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of auditing and finance. CPA Benson initially started their career as an Audit Senior at Njoka Mwangi and Associates CPA (K) from December 2003 to August 2008. CPA Benson then joined Manohar Lall & Rai CPA(K) as an Audit Senior from September 2008 to June 2010.

In 2010, they transitioned to Diamond Trust Bank, where they held various positions over the years. CPA Benson started as a Group Internal Auditor from July 2010 to September 2013, then became the Manager of the Branch Management Unit from October 2013 to February 2017. Following that, they served as the Group Internal Audit Manager from March 2017 to July 2018. CPA Benson then took on the role of Head of Branch Operations and Systems Unit (Rigor) at Diamond Trust Bank from July 2018 to October 2022. Most recently, they have been appointed as the Head of Internal Controls, starting in May 2022.

CPA Benson Musembi has completed a Bachelor of Business Management degree with a specialization in Finance and Banking from Moi University. Additionally, they have attended Pinnacle Business School to study Accounting. CPA Benson is also a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK), although the specific certification date is not provided.
