David Onsare Onchari

David Onsare Onchari is currently the Manager of Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence at Diamond Trust Bank, a position held since October 2023. In this role, David has led the development and implementation of credit application scorecards for digital loans, optimizing credit appraisal processes. Prior to this, David worked at Co-operative Bank of Kenya from July 2016 to October 2023, serving as a Data Management Analyst, a Subject Matter Expert - Data Validation Officer, and a Sales and Service Advisor. Key contributions include conducting data validation to ensure accuracy during data migration, developing predictive models to forecast business metrics, and providing financial advice to customers. David holds a Master's degree in Data Science from Liverpool John Moores University, an Executive Postgraduate Program in Data Science from the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore, and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Nairobi.
