Mahmood H.

Mahmood H. started their work experience as a Junior Dealer at ApexAfrica Capital Ltd in 2004. Mahmood then moved on to become a Chief Dealer at Apex Africa Investment Bank Ltd in 2004, where they drove sales and managed relationships with clients. Mahmood H. also worked as the General Manager at ApexAfrica Capital Ltd from 2011 to 2020, where they built and developed the investment banking brokerage division, implemented policies and procedures, and coordinated activities across various departments. Mahmood then became the General Manager at AIB-AXYS AFRICA LTD in 2020, where they held the position until 2023. Currently, Mahmood H. works as the Head of Custodial Business at Diamond Trust Bank starting from 2022.

Mahmood H. has a diverse educational background. Mahmood began their education in 2004 at Horizon College, where they obtained a Diploma in Association of Business Executives. Following this, they attended Strathmore University from 2005 to 2011, where they pursued a degree in ACCA, specializing in Accounting. Mahmood then furthered their education by attending the University of South Wales from 2016 to 2018, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General.

In addition to their formal education, Mahmood also obtained a certification from Corporate Finance Institute® (CFI) in March 2021.
