Austin Strong

Chemical Applications Engineer at Diamondback Energy

Austin Strong has a diverse work history in the oil and gas industry. Austin started their career in 2013 as a Technical Engineer at Marquis Alliance, where they completed well recaps, area studies, and operated software. Austin then transitioned to Halliburton in 2015, serving as an ATP-Frac and Acid engineer and gaining expertise in hydraulic fracturing and troubleshooting fluid systems. In 2016, Austin joined QEP Resources as a Chemical Applications Tech, before being promoted to Chemical Applications Engineer in 2017. Austin recently joined Diamondback Energy in 2021 as a Chemical Applications Engineer.

Austin Strong attended the Colorado School of Mines from 2011 to 2015, where they earned their Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering. It is not clear whether they pursued any further education at the same institution or in a different field of study.
