Matt Maguire

Matt Maguire is a seasoned reservoir engineering professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as a Senior Reservoir Engineering Advisor at Diamondback Energy since April 2019, with a focus on the Permian Basin. Maguire has led teams in providing critical data for asset development and completed evaluations of data analytic software for production forecasting. Prior to Diamondback Energy, significant roles included serving as the Unconventional EOR Pilot Project Lead and Reservoir Engineering and Simulation Technical Advisor at Laredo Petroleum, and as Barnett Shale Development Leader and Reservoir Engineer at ConocoPhillips. Starting a career in reservoir engineering at Arco Alaska, Maguire has built a strong foundation in simulation, budgeting, and technical development. Maguire holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
