Michael Parker

Michael Parker began their work experience in 1992 as a Correctional Officer at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Michael then served as a Sergeant from 1994 to 1995 in the same organization. From 1995 to 1997, they worked as a Registered Therapist at Texas Tech University. In 1997, Michael started working for the Texas Department of Public Safety as a Texas State Trooper until 2007. Michael then held various positions, including Sergeant with the Criminal Intelligence Service and Lieutenant with the Texas Rangers, from 2007 to 2023. Currently, they are working as a Security Coordinator at Diamondback Energy.

Michael Parker completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Texas Lutheran University between 1988 and 1992. Prior to that, they attended Iraan High School from 1984 to 1988. In addition to their formal education, Michael has obtained certifications in Crisis/Hostage Negotiation from the Midwest Counterdrug Training Center and in Master Peace Officer from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement.
